SightSound Technologies LLC<\/em>, CBM2013-00023, Paper 61 (April 2, 2014) the Board denied patent owner&#8217;s request for permission to file a motio to strike\u00a0the Petitioner&#8217;s reply for\u00a0new arguments not responsive to the arguments\u00a0the patent owner made in its response, and to strike portions of Petitioner&#8217;s declaration for\u00a0improperly containing legal argument.\u00a0 In both instances, the Board said that in most cases it is capable\u00a0of identifying and exclusing improper arguments and testimony.\u00a0 However,\u00a0merely asking for permision probably sensitized the Board to the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Apple Inc. v.
